Of the 4 demonstrated in the video above, my fave is the T-ups. It just seems to work everything (arms, core/abs, and balance … something I need to work on). I use 12 lb DB in each hand and really need to focus on not going fast or I lose my balance and my form suffers. I wonder if there’s such a thing as going too slow.

I seem to enjoy these more than the 1 leg RD … perhaps with more practice my balance will improve though with the latter.

I will definitely try this out!

    Thanks Holly!!!!!

Which beodyweight exercise is my favorite? Whichever one that I am on at the moment is my favorite! I know that you put these bonus workouts together to give me the best workout I can get!

Yes, this summer has been crazy busy, but I definately have time for these quick and effective workouts!

  3. Angela says:

My favourite of these moves is definitely T-ups because they make me feel strong! :)

  4. admin says:

    I agree Angela!!!
A fun and challenging modification is to add a push up between each T-UP.

  5. Pixbae says:

Holly, your abs are incredible! Why aren’t there more pictures showing them off on your pitch page??

  6. admin says:

    Thanks Pixbae -
I appreciate the compliment – however what I do is not predicated on “hey look at me and my abs” if you know what I mean. Not what I am about or a good representation of what my full program offers.
    Thanks though.

    hi holly,

i was wondering if it’s good to do two 15-minutes intervals a day, one in the morning, and one at night. (on the treadmile)

and is it good to do intervals everyday? Because I feel like my muscles don’t get too sore~~ :)

    Thanks,
    Amy

This looks great. I am going to try it out today. Thanks Holly you are an inspiration. I am finally feeling like I can get into my prepregnancy clothes (which I have already started doing)

The exercises are great, full body workouts. Would you recommend raising amount of weights as we work out, or is that unnecessary for this particular exercise (deadlift and lunge ).Thanks,Rosalie

  10. Liesl says:

I totally tried this yesterday, and I felt so energized for the rest of the day! I don’t think I’ve ever felt that much energy right after a workout. It helped me stay motivated to get my other work done! Thank you so much Holly!
I have a question though, do t-ups focus on working the arm-muscles? Would push-ups be an acceptable alternate, just to switch things up sometimes?

  11. admin says:

    That’s great to hear Liesl!!!

T-Ups are total body for they are working your core, arms, shoulders and back.

If you want to mix it up – as I suggested above – add push ups in between each T-Up.
    That’s a challenge!

    Holly,
Did you always have flat abs and then you worked extra hard to get that definition, or are you naturally cut like that? If you worked hard to get them that way, how long did it take you before you had definition? I have lots of definition in my legs, just not my abs, so i get discouraged. Thanks!
