I finally fit into my skinny jeans with ease!
Dani’s Journey began in March 2008:
“Now it took me 9 months to put on my baby fat so I am going to allow 9
months to get it off! It’s already been 2 months since joining Fit Yummy Mummy and
4 months after having Oscar (and I have finally been able to pull them
up over my hips).
However the muffin man appears if I take a deep breath and pull the zip!
Soooooo……..I want to fit into them comfortably, a little loose around the thigh area and no bulge over the waist area. My goal has been changed toAugust now (as so many of you think I will achieve it way before November)…wish me luck!”

Starting Over….Again?

~I drive my son Tyler to school each morning and for the past couple weeks have noticed a LOT of women out walking the neighborhood.
My first thought is – Good for Them!
Getting out and getting active is the first step to a sound fitness plan.
Then I begin to wonder if they are supplementing this form of exercise with other habits that will help promote fat loss.
While walking does have a long list of benefits, it is only one small piece of the fat loss puzzle.

This holiday weekend led us right into the heart of “Back to School” season.
While Tyler has been in school for a good four weeks now, this is the first week for millions of other children. Which also means a brand new routine for millions of moms!
There is no better time than NOW to take a step back and either create a plan that works for you OR reevaluate the plan you have been following, make some adjustments so you can continue to see results.
Think about this:
We expect our children to learn and follow a new routine.

Allison Celebrates her 47th Birthday with 47 Push Ups!
Allison is the mom of 6 – ages 5 to 25 – and you can see her in action, donning her cute pink Fit Yummy Mummy-T as she takes on her goal of 47 push ups to celebrate her 47th birthday last week.

“I started on July 28th and I can say that I feel great! I have been doing the introductory workouts and intervals on the treadmill…wow…it just gives me so much more energy. Last night my kids were home when I exercised and they were just obsessed with watching me and wanting to get on the treadmill…which they did after I was done.
They were like, “wow, look at mom run”.
