Dani’s Journey began in March 2008: “Now it took me 9 months to put on my baby fat so I am going to allow 9 months to get it off! It’s already been 2 months since joining Fit Yummy Mummy and 4 months after having Oscar (and I have finally been able to pull them up over my hips). However the muffin man appears if I take a deep breath and pull the zip! Soooooo……..I want to fit into them comfortably, a little loose around the thigh area and no bulge over the waist area. My goal has been changed toAugust now (as so many of you think I will achieve it way before November)…wish me luck!” See my updated before and after pictures…. (more…)

It is typical to come across a number of blog posts and messages on Mondays that express a degree of disappointment and frustration. Monday seems to be a day when we feel we have a chance to start over. Sickness, injury, PMS, family get-togethers, vacations, moving, unforseen events, change in work schedule, back to school season, no results, a case of missing motivation, etc. It happens….and it happens to every one of us. So please do not ever believe you are alone. Starting over is a fact of life. My first thought is – Good for Them! Getting out and getting active is the first step to a sound fitness plan. Then I begin to wonder if they are supplementing this form of exercise with other habits that will help promote fat loss. Allison is the mom of 6 – ages 5 to 25 – and you can see her in action, donning her cute pink Fit Yummy Mummy-T as she takes on her goal of 47 push ups to celebrate her 47th birthday last week. Wow…didn’t think that would happen!fit+for+fun Challenge Provides new level of Motivation - - Well this is my first official week of the Summer Transformation Challenge. - - . . - “I started on July 28th and I can say that I feel great! I have been doing the introductory workouts and intervals on the treadmill…wow…it just gives me so much more energy. Last night my kids were home when I exercised and they were just obsessed with watching me and wanting to get on the treadmill…which they did after I was done. They were like, “wow, look at mom run”.
