Not only did Amy get an even Better Body Back in just 12 weeks by losing 2 inches off her mommy belly and 2 inches off her hips ~ her new lifestyle is having a positive impact on her whole family!
“I found ClubFYM online and started reading and implementing the Fit Yummy Mummy program in April.
I was starting to feel and see results after 4 weeks. I was pretty excited and motivated to really dive in and commit to the Summer Challenge. I really didn’t know what was in store for me at the time except for my hopes for a better body!
Early in the challenge I reached my original goal- to get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans!
They were a size 10 and I wore them 2 years after my 7th child was born. I had been so miserable in my body and frustrated with my mommy belly before I found Holly’s program. I had started to believe and internalize false ideas about myself.
I had accepted the lie that because I had been through pregnancy 8 times I would never get a slim body back.
The lies went on…”It is just too much to expect…after all your stomach stretched 8 times and you gained over 40 lbs with each one, and well- just live with the belly and get over it. You’re really being selfish thinking about it so much when you should be focused on your children.” ( Oh, boy…I heard that one in my head a lot!)
After my 6th child I really started working out at home regularly and I experienced success by the time she was 2 I felt great! Just in time to get pregnant again- but what joy! I really tried to stay fit during my pregnancy after that but I packed on the lbs anyway!
This last time at age 42 (then) I really wondered how long it would take to get the weight off. It was hard! I tried herbalife, slimfast and Jillian Michaels program. I have had some success (from 168 down to 148) but was still stuck-not quite reaching my goal and frustrated.
That’s when I found Fit Yummy Mummy. I really just got the ebook for the info on nutrition because I was already using interval workouts…well sort of!
It turns out the whole program is working! Finally some answers! I’m actually starting to believe I can get where I want to be! (which is really just healthy-comfortable-and without extra poof hanging over my pants when I sit down!)
I listened to every past and present coaching call available on ClubFYM at least 2 or 3 times! I was so ready to devour new information about how to eat and how to work out and in the process I was getting the truth about hope and health and my potential and my spirit grabbed on to it and made it my own.
I replaced the lies with the truth and began to believe in myself and in the community at FYM. I began to open my heart.
That was really the most important change for me…my mindset.
I had been so focused on the weight and the fat and my discouragement and now my focus was slowly changing to a hope filled adventure mindset.
~ What higher goals can I set for myself?
~ What am I capable of?
~ What new thing can I try that I never thought I’d do or even like to do?
I was getting pretty excited!
My 12 Week Summer Challenge Results

My energy levels began to rise daily and my new habits began to rub off on my kids. My children have watched me choose healthy snacks for myself and they have asked questions and tried new foods and absorbed so much information about healthy eating!
They see me committed to my workouts and the older children help me with the baby so I can finish them. They have started adding physical activity to their day without me asking them to.
The younger children are much happier that Mom now has the energy to walk to the park! I really did not do that before! I was way too tired! Now I can carry the toddler up 3 flights of stairs without gasping for breath!
Last year my husband hiked with the children several times in our area here near Seattle. I was postpartum and out of shape and too tired to go. This summer I joined them on my first hike since we moved here! It felt so good to enjoy my family in the midst of God’s beautiful creation and not feel exhausted!
Being a home schooling Mom of 8 is a pretty big job! While it is the most amazing, rewarding and fulfilling job I could ever hope to have it does require a lot of energy.
